The future of cloud computing

Cloud computing is exceeding expectations, according to The TechInsights Report 2013: Cloud Succeeds.

The evolution of cloud computing is envisaged as a subset of major advances in technology and the realization of its potential hinges on the understanding of its dimensions and ramifications. Sean Marston et al ( 2011) , stressed, if cloud computing is to achieve its potential, there needs to be a clear understanding of the various issues involved, both from the perspectives of the providers, government and the consumers of the technology .

In this on line video, Brad Smith, Microsoft Corp. Senior V.P. & General Counsel, speaks to “The Communicators” about the future of “Cloud Computing.” Program from Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010. Here he delves into the future of cloud computing, asking congress to develop new regulatory frame work t to protect business and consumer information.
